Ashley & Cory’s Wedding

I met Cory (the groom) at a wedding show sponsored by the local ABC News station early this year. He wasn’t an attendee, but a camera man taking footage of the event. He sampled one of my cupcakes, said he was getting married and so the story goes. 7 months later I had the pleasure of making Cory and Ashley’s wedding cake. Their colors were yellow, silver and cobalt blue. The fondant was a marble yellow and all the decorations on the cake were made of fondant including the silver pearls. The 3-tier, 100+serving cake was yellow cake with chocolate hazelnut buttercream filling and yellow cake with lemon buttercream filling. I also created an additional cupcake tower to match the cake. The reception and wedding were at the Allenberry Resort Inn & Playhouse in Boiling Springs, PA. Cory was there when I delivered the cake and loved it. Yeah!

Graduation Cake

This is a graduation cake I made for Drew who was on the drum line at Cumberland Valley High. The drum is all cake with Drew sitting on top. The cake flavor was dark chocolate with peanut butter buttercream filling.

40th Birthday Cupcake Tower

This is a cupcake tower I made on Saturday for a 40th birthday pool party. The round disks are embossed with”40″ in the theme colors or teal blue and lime green. The cupcake flavors were chocolate cake with oreo buttercream frosting, red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and nutty monkey (banana cake with peanut butter buttercream frosting.

Daddy’s Baby Shower Cake

I had the pleasure of making a cake on Saturday for Kathy who own’s Creative Elegance Boutique in Camp Hill. She was hosting a “daddy’s” shower. The cake was dark chocolate with vanilla buttercream. I think I have to pick it as one of my most favorite cakes.

Megan & Chase’s Wedding

Sorry for the lack of posts this week. I actually went on vacation for a week to watch my son Dalton play baseball in Cooperstown, NY and also went to the beach. I’m back and baking again! This is a cupcake tower I did for an incredible couple. The wedding was actually a couple of weeks ago and I forgot my camera but Phil with artisticdifference.com, who did the photography, was kind enough to let me share their photos. The wedding and reception were are the Stone Mill Inn in Hallam PA. It is a beautiful setting for a wedding and reception. The cupcakes coordinated with the vibrant colors of the wedding.

Sam’s Graduation Cupcake Tower

This is a cupcake tower I did for a party last Saturday for Sam who graduated from Red Land High. She is an incredibly bright girl who will be attending NYU. She wanted to have the school color purple as her main color. Various shades of purple circles decorated each cupcake and the cake topper included the school logo. The cupcake flavors were nutty monkey, chocolate chocolate, chocolate oreo and vanilla vanilla.

Grace’s 1st Communion Cake

It was Grace’s 1st communion on Saturday and I made a special cake and cupcakes for her celebration party. Her favorite colors are yellow and green, so I made yellow roses and green leaves to decorate the cake and cupcakes. Congratulations Grace!
