The request was for a hunting theme birthday cake. To all by friends in California, I quite often have deer running on my property and you could say I live in in the country. Not really, but I like the effect. Well, there is a goat farm behind me :-). Anyways, the Monday after Thanksgiving is opening day of hunting season, and believe it or not the kids don’t have school because so many people are out hunting deer. Those poor Bambi’s.

Gram’s Birthday Cake
Happy Thanksgiving!
Class of 69 High School Reunion
This is a cupcake tower I did last weekend for the Central Dauphin Class of 1969 high school reunion. The theme was 60’s, so I incorporated 60ish flowers on the cupcake tower. The cupcake flavors were carrot cake with cream cheese frosing, red velvet with cream cheese frosting and vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting.
Fairy & Butterfly Cake
This is a fairy cake theme birthday I did for a Gaggles N Giggles party this past weekend. The cake was marble with oreo buttercream filling.
Keely’s 13th Birthday Cake
I received a call a couple of weeks ago from Keely’s mom who wanted to set up an appointment to meet to discuss creating a birthday cake for her daughter’s 13th birthday. Keely came to the meeting with a sketch of exactly want she wanted and this is what it looked like. The cake was adorable and I think she has a bright future as a cake designer!
Rock Star Cake
Here is another cake I did for Gaggles N Giggles for a Rock Star Party. I’ve included some photos from a Gaggles N Giggles party. Karoake, dress-up and more! How much fun.
16th Birthday Party
This is a very special cake I did for a combined 16th birthday celebration for 3 Cumberland Valley High School friends. Debbie (the mom) asked me to create something incorporating each of the kids and their sport and CV on the cake with the school colors of black and red. The cake was marble with Oreo buttercream filling.
Here’s what mom had to say:
I just have to say what a statement your cake made with about 45 teenagers! It was the highlight of the party. The cake was fabulous and all the mom’s raved over it wondering who made such a thing here in Central PA. I wanted you to know and thanks so much.
