50th Birthday Cake
Okay…I really felt like Duff on Ace of Cakes making this one! I had a request to make the client’s dad laying on a couch and incorporate his 3 grandkids, his favorite NFL team and his ever close beer in hand. The fun part was fulfilling the request to make him look like he was bleeding when you cut into him! Cherry pie filling was the trick and the cake was a hit. The figures were all made of fondant and the couch and his body were red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream filling.
Here’s what the client had to say.
That cake was fantastic!!!! I loved your attention to detail and creativity with it. Everyone raved how great it was! I had to argue with a couple people to actually cut it, when I did start serving it up everyone was telling me how delicious it was. It was great, thank you soooo much! –Kelli
Groom’s Wedding Shower Cake
This was a celebration cake for a special teacher at the elementary school my son went to. The request was to incorporate turtles. I decided to add some extra personal touches including his classroom, his doggy, surfing and his favorite NFL football team the Patriots. The cake was marble with vanilla buttercream filling. Congratulations!

Piggy Birthday Cake
Today was Morgan’s 17th birthday and her mom requested a cake with her favorite pigs and a design similar to her new PB Teen bedding. The party was at the Cornerstone Coffee House Culinary Kitchen in Camp Hill which is just a great place for a party. The 3-tier cake was dark chocolate with dolce de leche buttercream filling. After making the cake, I thought it would be a great design for a wedding cake too. There is also a photo of the fondant piggies before the big shoot 🙂
Lexa’s Baby Shower
This is a cupcake tower I did for a very special baby shower at the Kanaga House in Carlisle. It’s a beautiful venue for weddings and special events. The tower held 70 cupcakes and I designed custom favor boxes to match the invitations.

Dolphin Birthday Cake
This is a birthday cake I made for a friend Lorraine. Her sister said she loved dolphins, so that’s the theme I went with. The cake was dark chocolate with Madagascar vanilla buttercream filling on both tiers. The water on the top layer was made by melting blue candy. The entire cake including the dolphins was edible.
