Coral Peony Cake

Laura and Matt were married this past Saturday and had their reception at the beautiful Hershey Lodge. I have to say that I LOVE how this cake came together. It’s inspired by the scrolling on their wedding invitation as well as their wedding colors of guava and yellow accents.

Sugar peonies decorated the 4 tier cake.

The yellow balls were painted with a shimmery dust for a little shine.

Congratulation Laura and Matt…and mom Sue.

Fuschia and Orange…awesome color combination!

What a beautiful wedding at Regents’ Glen Country Club in York. The wedding colors were fuschia and orange. The bright colors just popped.

Orange sugar tiger lilies decorated the square 3 tier cake. Part of the challenge in creating a beautiful cake is to make sure the sides are square and just perfect!

I loved the bright paper lanterns hanging from the top of the tent.

Alicia labeled each of the soda favors with their photo. It looked adorable!

The reception tent overlooked a picture perfect view of the golf course.

Just a beautiful wedding!

Becki & Corey’s Floral Wedding Cake

Becki and Corey were married today and had their reception at the West Shore Country Club in Camp Hill. The cake was inspired by the colors and flowers in Becki’s bouquet.

The cake flavors were vanilla cake with chocolate ganache and peanut butter buttercream fillings and chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and chocolate buttercream fillings.

Navy blue banding and delicate trailing blossoms decorated the cake.

Congratulation Becki and Corey!

Lindsey and TJ’s Wedding

It seems like forever ago I met Lindsey for our first consultation. She was so enthusiastic it made even more excited to be a part of her big wedding day. The cake was inspired by her invitation which included damask and a beautiful dark teal color. The crystal monogram topper was stunning.

In addition to the wedding cake I created a sweets table including their favorite candy.

All the tags incorporated the damask and the teal ribbon a some rhinestones for a little bling on the tags.

The beautiful photos above were taken by the very talented Leslie Gilbert Photography. I was so excited to finally get to work with her. The reception took place at the Blue Ridge Country Club in Harrisburg.

Congratulations Lindsey and TJ.

Here’s what Lindsey had to say…

The Couture Cakery (Jasmine Clouser) was the RANT and RAVE of our wedding reception!! The cake and the candy station were absolutely beautiful and elegant. The cake was stunning!! Not only was it stunning, but it was delicious and so moist. The oreo cream filling was to die for. Our candy station table was decorated with the damask background colors we had asked for along with all different styles of clear apothocary jars filled with the different chocolate and gummy candies we had asked for. My husband and I could not have asked for anything more!

Melissa & Billy

Melissa and Billy were married this past Saturday in Harrisburg. The wedding cake incorporated their wedding colors of chocolate brown and accents in guava and green.

The cake flavors were chocolate cake with mocha buttercream and raspberry filling and white cake with lemon buttercream and strawberry filling.

Guests had a “couples advice” mad lib to fill out. How fun.

The lantern centerpiece with the greens looked very pretty.

Congratulations Melissa and Billy!

Alexandra & Zachary’s Cupcake Tower at Riverdale Manor

Alexandra and Zachary were married at Riverdale Manor in Lancaster. Their cupcake tower incorporated their wedding colors of purple, red and orange.

Sugar orchids decorated the cake topper. The cupcake flavors included Vanilla Vanilla, Nutty Monkey and Chocolate Oreo.

The beautiful florals were provided by Petals with Style.

I love the menu cards and coordinating table numbers.

Ceremony and dinner music was performed by the very talented Latin guitarist Dante. He is really amazing.

Congratulations Alexandra and Zachary!

Don’s commitment ceremony

I met Don, who owns Don Blyer Events, early this year about designing a unique cupcake display for his commitment ceremony. He came well prepared with a jam packed 4 inch planning binder and a list of the best vendors in the area that he was planning to work with. Needless to say, I was very excited about being a part of the amazing day.

The ceremony took place at their Lancaster home. No detail was missed in the planning. Guests entered on a red carpet which set the tone for the evening. All of the stunning photos on this post were taken by the talented team of Clint and Tony with Tony Gibble Photography. I had so much fun watching them shoot and they are just so nice!

The ceremony took place in their beautiful Japanese garden.

They are really two very special people. There were so many personal touches that made the ceremony very touching. I especially loved the reading from the Velveteen Rabbit.

The cupcake tower was inspired by the pattern of the beautiful linen from Special Occasion Linens. A deep teal with shimmery gold threading and sequins made a stunning background for the tower.

The cupcake decorations included embossed circles in coordinating colors with shimmery dust brushed on them.

The cupcake flavors included Red Velvet, Madagascar Vanilla and a chocolate cupcake with chocolate ganache filling and raspberry Chambord buttercream frosting.

Don’s mom ready to enjoy a cupcake!

In addition to the bar, they offered two signature cocktails which were amazing. The Something Blue created by Dean Oberholtzer with The Belvedere Inn was pretty spectacular!

The artsy florals by Premier Florals fit in perfectly with the decor.

Catering by Artful Events was not only beautifully presented but delicious.

Needless to say the cake cutting was a hoot!

A little messy but yummy!

Thank you for having me be a part of your amazing evening!

One Couture Cake…Three Looks

This Saturday, Jill and Keith had their reception at the Hershey Lodge. The main design of the cake was just a clean white cake with edible pearls on the base of each tier. Fresh hydrangea blossoms were going to be placed on the cake at the reception site, so I had a little fun trying some different sugar flower accents before I delivered the cake.

One large orange sugar peony adds a dramatic contrast to the white cake.

Concept two was adding a small pair of sugar roses.

These are the roses I made when I took a course with Ron Ben Israel earlier this year.

Here is the final cake with the fresh hydrangea blossoms.

The cake flavors were vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream filling, chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream filling and white cake with vanilla buttercream filling.

Congratulations Jill and Keith.

Emma & John’s Beautiful Outdoor Wedding

I had the pleasure of working with Emma to create a cupcake tower for her wedding reception last weekend. Everything looked just amazing. Emma works with The JDK Group, so there was no doubt everything would be just incredible.

The wedding colors included a deep red, fuschia and deep purple. The cupcake flavors included 24 Carrot, Chocolate Oreo and and Nutty Monkey.

What a beautiful bride with an amazing smile 🙂

Scrolling was incorporated from the invitations to the table numbers and menus.

Chiavari chairs are always so elegant. I love them. The team from The JDK Group spent many many hours hanging the paper lanterns, which looked just amazing!

The beautiful florals on the tables surrounded a floating candle centerpiece which was placed on a light box. It created an amazing lighting effect as the evening grew darker.

A wonderful job by Steve, Amanda, Emma, Erika and Stephanie with The JDK Group…just stunning!

Congratulation Emma & John!
