Erin and Matt’s Wedding

I had 3 amazing weddings on Saturday and Erin and Matt’s was one I was really looking forward to. They are such a great couple and I enjoyed getting to know them tremendously. Their reception was at the Harrisburg/Hershey Sheraton…a very nice venue with a wonderful staff.

Beautiful gerber daisy arrangements from Pealers were part of the theme. The colors were a bright and light pink which I carried through on the cupcakes.

Matt is very creative and designed a swirl logo for their invitations and save the dates, so I incorporated it on the cake topper. They also provided a beautiful Lenox cake topper. I always suggest a topper since it just adds so much to the cupcake tower.

The cupcake flavors were marble cake with chocolate ganache filling and peanut butter frosting, white cake with caramel frosting and chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling and chocolate mint frosting.

Isn’t the logo Matt designed awesome!

Each table had a different photo on the table numbers…so creative.

Congratulations to an amazing couple. I wish you the very best in your new lives together and will never forget seeing all the cake on the floor after the cake in the face smashing 🙂

Kirsten & Ethan’s Chic Modern Wedding

Modern, elegant and chic is what I think of when I see this cupcake tower and wedding design. Ethan and Kirsten were married this past Saturday at Felicita Resort in Harrisburg. The couple lives in my old stomping grounds of Santa Monica, CA. Kim with The JDK Group coordinated the wedding and did an amazing job with the floral design and decor.

The colors for the wedding were a deep purple and brown. I love my new square cupcake tower.

The cake topper was in my favorite flavor Lemon Drop…white cake with fresh lemon curd and vanilla buttercream filling. Yum! Dark purple, purple and white blossoms topped each cupcake.

The cupcake flavors were Nutty Monkey (banana cake with peanut butter buttercream frosting), Lemon drop, and Chocolate Mint (dark chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling and chocolate mint buttercream frosting).

Pretty escort cards.

Caramel popcorn favors for the guests.

Submerged flowers are always so gorgeous.

The JDK Group designed the menu cards, table numbers and floral design. They also provided the beautiful linens. Everything was so elegant.

Congratulations Ethan and Kirsten!

Lauren & Matt’s Wedding at the Conewago Manor Inn

Get ready for some serious eye candy!

I’ve been working with Lauren for about a year, trying to envision her perfect wedding cake. Well, what Lauren envisioned wasn’t just one wedding cake, but a cake for each table. We started with the concept of a small 2-tier cake but the end result turned out to be 3-tier cakes for each table. Wait til you see the pics!

C&J Catering did the wedding design and catering. Everything was just spectacular. It looked like a wedding straight out of a magazine! Jamie and Melissa with C&J did an amazing job putting it all together. The cakes were placed on top of giant martini glasses flipped upside down (total genius). After the cakes were removed for the cake cutting, the glasses were flipped over and lighting and crystals were placed inside the glass to create a new centerpiece.

The bride and groom had their own special cake at their sweetheart table. Over 100 mini sugar carnation on a vanilla cake with almond buttercream filling.

Here are some detail shots of the 7 different cake designs I did. 20 cakes in all! Yes…it was a lot of work, but worth the results.

It’s all about the bow for the bridal party. Click here to see Lauren’s bridal shower, which was just as amazing. I’ve had the honor of having it featured on numerous blogs.

So pretty!

The cake flavors were dark chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and chocolate buttercream filling and vanilla cake with almond buttercream filling.

Hundreds on blossoms, leaves and flowers were made to create these cakes.

Melissa with C&J did the floral design. So beautiful.

The details were over the top. The water glasses were even tinted pink.

The linens were to die for.

What an amazing wedding. I am so grateful to Lauren for the opportunity to work with her in making her dream wedding come true! Congratulations Lauren and Matt. I am so happy for you!

St. Theresa’s 8th Grade Graduation

Tuesday was the 8th grade graduation for the students at St. Theresa’s in New Cumberland. After graduation, the students and families had a celebration which I created a cupcake tower and display for. The 230 cupcakes were displayed on a cupcake tower and my new display stands which I love.

Each class selects their class colors and flower. This year’s class selected orange as their class color.

The fleur de lis is the school’s symbol.

The tiger lily is the class flower.

Congratulations Class of 2010!
