Ceries & Justin’s Damask Cupcake Tower

I’ve been waiting to do a damask inspired cupcake tower and was so excited when Ceries and Justin incorporated a damask print for their cupcake tower this past Saturday. The cake topper was stenciled with a damask print.

The monogram cake topper looked perfect.

The cupcake flavors were Chocobutter, Red Velvet and Vanilla Raspberry.

Congrats to Ceries and Justin!

Olivia & Brian’s Wedding

This past Saturday I had the honor of creating a very special wedding cake and cupcakes for Olivia and Brian’s wedding at Guajome Rancho Adobe in Vista California.

The sweets table included antique platters, pedestals and old books stacked that helped create various heights for the display.

The cupcake flavors included Lemon Drop, Chocobutter and Vanilla Raspberry. The cake flavor was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and fresh raspberry buttercream fillings.

The florals included pretty white and yellow flowers. The bridesmaids dresses were a beautiful grey and they all wore yellow shoes…so cute.

As you entered the venue, there was a wishing tree where guests could write a note to the couple and hang it on the tree branches. Olivia’s friend made hundreds of origami flowers that hung from the large trees around the wedding and reception. They added such an amazing touch.

Each of the guests had a small potted plant at their seats to take home. Olivia and Brian planted a small tree with soil from their parents gardens during the ceremony to symbolize the union of their families.

It was so much fun being a part of Olivia and Brian’s wedding and getting to spend time with my very special friends!

Couture Button Cake

Fondant buttons painted with shades of edible gold help to create a chic
couture look for this cake.

The cake was designed for the I Do In Style Bridal show. The stunning tags and
menus were created by Love, Jessica. A beautiful dangling chandelier of fresh
orchids (created by Wildflowers by Design) hung delicately over the cake.

Fun with Fondant Class

Fun with Fondant was a blast at the Cornerstone Culinary Kitchen.

I love these cakes a mother and daughter made.

It was great having kids and adults in the class.
Can you believe a 10 year old made the pink and orange cake!
A cake artist in the making 🙂

Attention to detail.

I love all the different ideas everyone came up with. Thank you!! I had a great time.

Brienne & Keith’s Wedding at the Carlisle Ribbon Mill

Brienne and Keith had their wedding and reception at the Carlisle Ribbon Mill. It’s beautiful venue with exposed brick interior walls and just a very open loft feel.

The wedding colors were black and white. Simple but very elegant. The cupcake flavors were Red Velvet, 24 Carrot and vanilla cake with strawberry buttcream icing.

The space was divided into 2 areas with a white curtain so the ceremony could take place on one side and the dining tables were placed on the other side. The curtain was removed after the ceremony and the tables were moved over to fill the entire space. I love the sashing on the chairs.

The escort tags were pinned on a framed cork board. It was very pretty. The black linens looked very elegant.

Sarah the events manager at the Carlisle Ribbon Mill is a pleasure to work with. Patty Armbrust & Company provided the catering and event design.

Congratulations Brienne and Keith!

Olivia’s 5th Birthday Party at Monkey Joe’s

What a fun party! Olivia celebrated her birthday at the inflatable party place
Monkey Joe’s in Camp Hill. If you have a child under 12…it’s a must go play spot.

A princess monkey was perched on the cake topper. Pink and green flowers and banana’s decorated the cupcakes.

Olivia’s mom went all out and had custom “Let’s monkey around” t-shirts made for all the kids and parents, plus adorable custom signage and placemats. Don’t you love the huge inflatable throne for the birthday girl!

Thanks Olivia for having me be a part of your amazing birthday party!

TIffany Blue & Zebra Print Dessert Table

I was invited to do a dessert table for the Knot tent at the I Do In Style bridal showcase. The color theme was tiffany blue and white and a black and white zebra print. The contrast of colors was really stunning. The beautiful photos were taken by the very talented Leslie Gilbert.

The zebra print cake was the centerpiece of the table. Since ruffles are so popular right now, I created some zebra print ruffle rosettes. Rhinestone banding on the base of each tier and disco dust sprinkled on the cake added just a touch of bling.

Marshmallow pops and Whirley pops. Yum!

French macaron cookies in tiffany blue with chocolate ganache filling. Mini cupcakes in zebra liners with chocolate zebra print decorations on top.
White chocolate dipped pretzels.

Zebra striped Oreo cookies, chocolate cake pops, M&Ms and peachy black and
white gummy penguins.

Iced zebra striped cookies.

More tall Whirley pops, caramel corn, gummy sharks, and yogurt covered pretzels.

Thank you to all the vendors below for helping to make this table come together!
